Q5. In my opinion, the husband is not insane, but he just wants to take revenge on his wife because she looked down on him. First of all, when she was taken away by the police and the psychiatrist, he didn't stop them dragging her out even though she was screaming loudly. Moreover, as we can check at the end of the story, he lived happily without her; thus, I think he takes advantage of her maleficence for his rest of his life. However, there are some scenes which can be considered as he is also crazy. He maintained that he saw the unicorn and he thought the unicorn had gone away. Through these parts, the author let the reader think he is abnormal and he will be arrested. In addition, he fell asleep among the roses in the garden. It can make the contention firmly that he is crazy.
