Without a cast of a doubt, there are many controversies whether
all governments should use the tax for the environmental refugees or not, and
it is one of the most important topic nowadays. In my opinion, every government
has to allocate their budget for helping these victims of natural disasters. First
and foremost, the natural disasters are not confined to particular country
anymore, and the damage is increasing more and more; thus, the consequences of the
natural calamities should be dealt with all over the world. According to the
article “Environmental Refugees Unable to Return Home”, the author Kakissis
states that “But with the prospect of worsening climate conditions over the
next few decades, experts on migration ay tens of millions more people in the
developing world could be on the move because of disasters.” Furthermore, Kakissis
contends that “but in recent years, the moves are more likely to be permanent.”
Therefore, every country has to consider environmental refugees as their problems.
They should realize that their countries and their nation cannot be free from
these disasters even if they are not involved it yet. The notion of helping
environmental refugees should be changed. If every government starts to
implement the policy for the environmental refugees, it will be the way to protect
their public not just a waste. Next, the permission that these refugees stay in
their countries can bring positive outcomes to their economy. The opponents who
are against helping environmental refugees mainly argue that spending their tax
for the foreigners is not be helpful for their countries. In the film “That
Which Once Was”, the speaker contends that “Spending taxes for them; then, we
can’t take care everyone.” However, helping environmental refugees with
financial support makes their economy totally develop. Once governments try to support
them, these victims of natural calamities can easily settle to these countries,
and they can get jobs. These people will be the nation of these countries;
then, it leads to increasing tax revenue and productivities. Lastly, every
human being has the right to humanistic treatment including environmental refugees.
As mentioned before, the amount of people who escape from their homeland for
finding basic resources is rapidly increasing. In other words, many people are struggling
with poverty and starving, and much more people will do that. Moreover, plenty
of them is dying on the road, and much more people will do that. This is an
inevitable phenomenon; therefore, every country should prepare the support for
the aspect of humanism. Protecting them is everyone’s responsibilities, so
every government should permit to build the facilities and give financial
supports for them. To conclude, for these reasons, all over the world should
strive to support them. Allotting their taxes to help the victims is being
necessary not just a option, and it is unavoidable.
Great development and organization in this paragraph. There are two things to work on, though: 1. " Without a cast of a doubt" is not generally used in American English. If you learned this in Reza's IELTS class, please keep it there. Test writing is not the same as academic writing. 2. Use correct in-text citation format. We don't use full titles when citing a source as evidence; we use in-text citations. Please see my handout for more information. 98
